Regions and statistics — never your details.
Ghost Load Auditor keeps anonymous regional statistics to understand heat pump readiness across Canada and the US. We do not store addresses, coordinates, energy bills, IP addresses, names, or emails. There are no accounts, no marketing profiles, and nothing to sell.
Free panel check
The calculation runs entirely in your browser. When you run a check, we count one anonymous observation: the verdict (PASS/WARN/FAIL), panel size, which load types were present, a size band for the home, and a city-level region derived from your connection at that moment — the IP address itself is never read into storage. That count cannot be traced back to you or your home.
Energy signature (bills → ROI)
Your billing data and location are processed in memory to compute your results and are not stored. What we keep is one anonymous observation per analysis: a coarse region label (for example "Vernon BC"), the fuel type, whether the analysis succeeded or was refused, and bucketed statistics (heat-loss range, balance-point range). Weather data is fetched per weather station, not per home.
Paid reports
Checkout is handled by Stripe. The inputs needed to generate your report travel with your Stripe transaction so we can render your report and honour refunds — that is the only place they exist, under Stripe's security and retention. Card details never touch our servers.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track individuals across sites. No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies.
